Quality Seeds West is a Registered Seed Establishment and Authorized Importer under regulations set by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (Canadian Federal Government Department) and accredited by the Canadian Seed Institute. We have a licensed Operator, two Graders, and two Seed Import Release Agents on staff. What does this mean for our customers? Our seed is second to none. We offer seed of the highest varietal and mechanical purity, with verifiable germination percentages. As well, seed grades (bag tags and certificates) confirm the standard to which the seed conforms - or in layman's terms - you get what you pay for, with proof. For more information, visit the Canadian Seed Institute's website at www.csi-ics.com or read the following fact sheet recently released by the Canadian Seed Trade Association. You can visit the CSTA online at www.cdnseed.org. As well, in response to the many requests we have received from our Forestry, Mining and Transportation sector customers asking "What is the difference between a Common No. 1 Forage Mixture and a Canada No. 1 Ground Cover Mixture?" we have prepared this information letter. Finally, please feel free to call our Operations Manager, Mr. Russ Paton (Operator, Grader and SIRA) at (604) 574-7333, if you have any questions whatsoever with regard to our seed quality or seed grades in general. He'll be pleased to assist you. |
